Jelly Roll met Brooks backstage and excitedly picked him up and lifted him into the air by way of introduction.«I got to see Garth Brooks at the ACM Awards and I was so excited I picked him up,» Jelly Roll told ET earlier this week at the  finale.

It marked the country star's first time winning the prize, and his win qualifies him for the coveted ACM Triple Crown Award, celebrating artists who have won New Female/Male Artist of the Year, Female/Male Artist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year.

On cue, Dolly rolled out on stage with a live goat in a wagon and jokingly said, "Did I hear you say you were looking for a goat? I've got your goat right here." They shared kind exchanges back and forth before Dolly mentioned hearing she's a "hall pass" for Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood. "I just had a thought," Parton said.
