AB6IX have announced the dates for their upcoming 2023 ‘The Future’ world tour.AB6IX are set to go on a 12-date world tour from July to September this year, in support of their new mini-album ‘The Future Is Ours: Lost’. The upcoming tour will feature shows in Asia and across North America.AB6IX’s ‘The Future’ world tour outside of South Korea will kick off in Macau, China on July 15.
Following that, the boyband will play two shows in Japan, in the cities of Osaka and Tokyo on June 10 and 12, respectively.After that, AB6IX will head to North America for a nine-date tour, starting in New Jersey. The group will then play shows across the US, including concerts in Atlanta and Dallas, as well as one show in the Canadian city of Montreal.
The North American leg will wrap up in early September with shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles.Ticketing details and some venue information have yet to be announced. The Matty Healy-led group will take their fifth album, “Being Funny in a Foreign Language,” across the U.S. and Canada for the second time since its October 2022 release. The tour will kick off Sept. 26 in Sacramento, Calif., and end Dec. 2 in Seattle. The band had teased the tour on social media throughout the month, posting vague visuals and linking to an online registration form. The 1975’s prior “At Their Very Best” tour started in October 2022 in the U.S. and then moved around the U.K., Latin America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Foo Fighters have expanded their world tour with new dates in Australia and New Zealand, set to take place over the end of 2023 and start of 2024.The tour, announced today (June 5), will commence on November 29 in Perth before taking the band to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane throughout December, followed by Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington the following month. Sumerian is planning a limited theatrical release this year under the English title “Fortunate Son.” The pickup marks the second acquisition for Sumerian’s new film and streaming division, which launched this year. Sumerian founder Ash Avildsen said the film is “a dark, brutally authentic and beautifully shot independent film centered around troubled youth in unorthodox households. It will undoubtedly strike a nerve with audiences who appreciate gritty arthouse drama, as it did with me.”
