Leo Barraclough International Features Editor Jan Naszewski’s Warsaw-based sales outlet New Europe Film Sales has sold its 3D family animation “A Mystery on the Cattle Hill Express,” directed by Will Ashurst, to Viva Kids for North America. The third part in the “Cattle Hill” series is a detective story about the little cow Clara and her friend Gavin who join forces with the world famous detective Agatha Chichester to unveil the thief of a revolutionary Nano-seed stolen from a high-tech laboratory train. New Europe has also sold the film to South Korea (First Run) and South Africa (Red Dot Digitals) and, as previously announced, France (Alba Films), Poland (New Horizons), JUST4KIDS in Benelux, Neo Films in Greece, Birfilm in Turkey, FILMS4YOU in Portugal and Arthousetraffic in Ukraine.

Coachella 2024 have been announced by organisers, alongside details of advance ticket sales.The festival has confirmed its return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California for the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21. Ethan Shanfeld The 1975 has announced the “Still… At Their Very Best” fall tour, the band’s biggest North American tour to date. The Matty Healy-led group will take their fifth album, “Being Funny in a Foreign Language,” across the U.S. and Canada for the second time since its October 2022 release. The tour will kick off Sept. 26 in Sacramento, Calif., and end Dec. 2 in Seattle. The band had teased the tour on social media throughout the month, posting vague visuals and linking to an online registration form. The 1975’s prior “At Their Very Best” tour started in October 2022 in the U.S. and then moved around the U.K., Latin America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. The show included an intricately decorated life-size house for a set, two distinct acts and a narrative interlude.

Foo Fighters have expanded their world tour with new dates in Australia and New Zealand, set to take place over the end of 2023 and start of 2024.The tour, announced today (June 5), will commence on November 29 in Perth before taking the band to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane throughout December, followed by Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington the following month. The Chats will serve as main support on four of the Australian dates, while UK duo Hot Milk will join the band as openers in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Royal Blood have announced a series of North American tour dates set to take place later this year.The shows will be in support of their recently announced album ‘Back To The Water Below’, which is set for release on September 8.Split into two parts, the first leg of the tour will see the duo venture to New Jersey’s Sea.Hear.Now festival on September 16 to kick off the live dates. From there they will make stops in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and more, before wrapping up in New York on October 3, supported by Bad Nerves.For the second part of the North American tour, Royal Blood — comprised of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher — will head to Los Angeles for a show at The Wiltern on November 9.

Leo Barraclough International Features Editor Sumerian has acquired the North American rights to brutal coming-of-age story “Mascot,” which had its world premiere in January at Slamdance, and its international premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam the same month. Sumerian is planning a limited theatrical release this year under the English title “Fortunate Son.” The pickup marks the second acquisition for Sumerian’s new film and streaming division, which launched this year. Sumerian founder Ash Avildsen said the film is “a dark, brutally authentic and beautifully shot independent film centered around troubled youth in unorthodox households. It will undoubtedly strike a nerve with audiences who appreciate gritty arthouse drama, as it did with me.”
